Marla Michelle Christian

Marla was my big sister and it sucks beyond belief to have to say goodbye to her at all, let alone so early in life. She was always the protector of Sharla and I, it didn't matter how big the other guy was she would still take them on. =)She also taught me a love of music, especially rock and roll. I find myself doing okay until a Motley Crue song comes on and then I lose it. Lolly (that was her nickname because Sharla couldn't pronounce "marla" as a toddler)and I had grown especially close...

How can one appropriately express condolances at a time like this? All I can say is that I am thankful for the gospel and the knowledge that families are forever.

Marla was a joy to every life she touched.She touched so many more lives than she ever imagined and she will always be loved and missed.I cried the day she was born because I thought she was the most wonderful baby in the world. I cry that she has left us early, not for her but for the empty spot in my heart that will remain until we meet again at Heavenly Father's feet.Love, Mom
