I grew up with the Jarmer family on Sauvies Island and still reside on my family farm there. Marla was 1 year younger but we spent many school years & play times at each other's homes together. I have many fond memories of the Jarmer family at Sauvies Island school and St. Brigitta Catholic Church functions when we were growing up. We lost contact over the years but I recently met with Diane and was able to get updated on all the siblings. I never had the privilege of meeting Marla's...

Marla was and is a beautiful person. I wouldn´t be where I am today without her. She will always have a special place in my heart and the emptiness will never be filled. This is a very difficult time for all of us especially her family. We love you Marla and always will. Rest in peace

MARLA WAS ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER KNOWN IN MY LIFETIME.WONDERFUL MOTHER TO HER KIDS AND WONDERFUL WIFE TO HER HUSBAND SKIP.SHE WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.
