Sonntag, Marla Rae 3/16/1947 - 7/11/2016 It's all about the heart, Marla Sonntag would say. This phrase was more than just words for her she lived every day from her heart, as everyone who knew her came to understand. Marla was born on March 16, 1947. Early in life, Marla supported her two...

Not sure what to say?

We miss Marla's infectious smile & enthusiasm at our Dixboro United Methodist Church services. She was so sweet towards everyone in the congregation. -Cliff & Sher Murphy

We are so very sorry for your loss. Cousin Marla will be greatly missed by her Aunt Betty and Uncle Charles Fillmore's Family. Wish we had known sooner of her and her brother John's passings. God bless the family. Love, Ann (Fillmore) Olds & family and Bill & Sunee and Family Michelle and Kari if you would like to stay in contact with family, please email us at [email protected]. Ann (Mom) is living down in Elsie, MI with my husband and I and boys. Love to all

I just ran across one of your cards you gave me and looked you up and found results of an obituary.. I'm in total shock until it hurts that I wish I could just say thank you and I love you and if you're my Marla then I'm. Crying happiness of knowing you..Melinda from the Judson Center

Our love to Marla's family. Marla was a joy to work with.

I spoke with Marla about a month before she passed away and prayed with her. Her response to me about the cancer is "either way I win." I know that Marla is the arms of her beloved Jesus and we will meet again. Sympathies to the family who I never met but I know that Marla is a precious soul! Brent Hanson

Marla, Was a person so full of love for God. She gave His love to anyone who was in your path. I learned so much about joy in Him through her. I know she is with Jesus right now enjoying Him. To all the family you have been so blessed. Marla was a precious one of a kind. I will pray for God to fill your hearts with comfort. Blessing, Lori Bocks

Goodnight and good morning, Marly-olio! You are missed, Thelma, more than we could have imagined! I'm glad you're with Dad and our Beloved Jesus, and that you are back in your prime without pain or tears. Thanks a ton for doing life with me these last 14 years. You made the good times better and the hard spots into adventures! Tell Jesus I love Him and give Him a big hug for me! I'll see you in a minute, but I don't know "which" minute. You know how that goes! I'll stay busy till my name is...

My heart shares your sadness at the loss of your beautiful mother and grandmother. We were neighbors and friends in Redding, and I never saw her without that big smile. She lit up the room wherever she was, and she had a gift of making each person feel like the center of her attention. Heaven's gain is our loss. I am so happy I will see her there!

Kari & Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss, I will never forget how she always lit up the room with a smile and that infectious laugh, she always made me feel comfortable every time I came over to visit.
