Not sure what to say?

Aunt Marlee will be missed. She and Uncle Vic were extended parents to my siblings and me when we would come to Portland to visit our Siti and Jidi with our parents. My sister Margot and I were fortunate enough to be spoiled with love and fun by A. Marlee and U. Vic prior to and after they had their own children. Over the many decades, we were with them for family weddings, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays, special events, family reunions, beach sojourns, and monthly visits to Portland to...

What can I say about My dear Aunt Marlee - there are soooo many things & years that have passed between us (most of my life) she was definitely a great cook!! Her Tabouli was the only one I would eat - it was the best !! My Sis Deb & I use to walk over to her & Uncle Vics home every Sunday when Cuzin Vicki was not even 1yr old - we’d play with her & have soooo much fun! But the one thing about all those visits were when it was lunch time Aunt Marlee made the BEST!! Tuna sandwiches &...

My deepest sympathy to the family.
I have soooo many wonderful memories of Marlee. All the travels we (Dale & I) did together. Spending time at their beach house and enjoyed
her wonderful food. She was always fun to be with.
With Love,
Bev Carlon

I met Marlee at her daughter Vicki's wedding and was always gladdened by her happy family.
Wishing you peace during this sad time,
Toni Saxton

Marlee was on our Portland to Coast walking team for many years. She hosted the team at her home in Cannon Beach after the exhausting event. I remember her as always having a smile on her face, being kind and she made some mean spaghetti sauce. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Mrs. Kaady was my teacher at Rockwood Alder. She was a beautiful, unforgettable person. She made a difference in my life. So sorry for loss. RIP

Dearest family,

I echo what my sister, Susan Joseph Nielsen has said about our dear Aunt Marlee. Except our sister, Ann and I, knew her longer! I will never forget meeting "Miss Ross" while she was dating our uncle, Vic at Mabel Cosette's home. We were set on the kitchen counter and "Miss Ross" gave us ice cream cones! What 3 & 4 year-olds could resist such a treat! Not us! Many decades later, Aunt Marlee shared with me that--prior to Vicki being born--she and Uncle Vic...

We are so sorry for your loss Vic. Art and Denice Karstetter

I worked with Marlee but on the admin side. She was a lovely lady. I enjoyed her and respected her. She shared a recipe for a chocolate sheet cake with me that has become a favorite with family and friends. My condolences to her family.
