BENSON, Marlene K. - Of Swartz Creek, age 72, entered the gates of heaven to be with her Lord, on Thursday, March 31, 2005. Funeral service were held at 10AM today.
We were so sorry to learn of Marlene's death...will be praying for all of you, as she will certainly be missed in many ways.

My Mom was a very special lady to so many. She was loving and kind and cared most about others. She was always looking for ways to make everyone happy. She would bake cookies for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, separate them into individualized ziplock bags and write their names so that each of them felt they had received a special treat from "Nana Cookie", a nickname her great grandchildren gave to her. She also was involved in the "Shoebox" Ministry and would fill empty shoeboxes...
