Not sure what to say?

It's been 6 years since you left us. I will always remember you as 'Pokey' as you were always late for everything. I look back through our family photos and you have a smile on your face on every one of them. You were such a kind and sweet person. I know you are at rest now with your mama and daddy and Jay Bird. I will keep a candle burning in your memory.

Marlene, I loved you dearly and will miss you. I will always remember your visits with Alexis and the fun. I remember when Karen and Frank stopped in Fredericksburg to pick up Samantha and Kim's family, you and I met them at Bob's Evans. We all do enjoyed. You are at peace and I love you.

Marlene at her granddaughter's wedding.

I will miss you so much Marlene. The talks we shared about our sons and searching genealogy info together were some special times for me and you. I so enjoyed you and Samantha coming for a visit and you will be in my heart forever. My prayers for all your family at this time. Carolyn Lee Lockhart in Waverly, Va.

Gloria, so sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. She will be remembered as a very sweet person. Her humor and ability to laugh at life will be a comfort to you. while she had her trials and troubles, just like all of us, she did have many, many wonderful experiences in her life as well. She was so proud of JayBird and his wife and her grandchildren and had a never ending love for Ken. She will be missed. Sorry I have not kept in touch but i do hold all of yuu in my heart.

You will surely be missed. I will never forget the turkey breast you were trying to cook and all the laughs that you and Gloria were always good for. Rest in peace, dear lady, with your family there to greet you.
