Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy, Jodi phoned me when she arrived home from work today to tell me about Marlene's having passed away on December 2nd. She had just been notified earlier today by someone who had worked with Jodi and Marlene. Both of us had missed her obit in the Press Democrat earlier this week. I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face for you, for your boys, and for your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy, I have an idea what you've been through this past year after losing...

Nancy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I enjoyed working with Marlene and sharing stories about our children...it almost seems like yesterday. May the special moments you all shared together help ease the pain of your loss.

It seems like yesterday when I first met Marly - we were 13 and shared all of the secrets, laughter and tears that teenage years bring. She was a loyal and loving best friend. Marlene went from cruising 4th to sharing crock pot recipes overnight and, after becoming a mother, never wanted anything more. Her greatest and proudest achievements were her three boys...and grandbabies. My heart is broken for her family, Nancy and brothers... God bless your beautiful family and now your two...

Nancy, Brucie, Josh, Steven and families,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Marlene was a wonderful person and we will miss her a lot. We will always remember the good times we've all had together. And we will still have the BBQ we had been talking about with her.

Love, Janet, Sarah, Chris & Mike

My heartfeld condolences to the family of Marlene. It seems like a lifetime ago that we worked at the same law firm. I am thankful to have known her. It is painful to lose a mother and Nancy, I can't imagine the pain of losing a child.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
