Not sure what to say?

I too was a huge fan,so much that my Grandmother was the lady that HANDMADE the little miniature P&P rag dolls that they both carried on every show! They were very close replicas of the characters. Grandma also made all of her Grandaughters a similar doll as well, I have tried countless times to get in touch with Bev Schwind with no luck, just to tell her how they taught me its ok to be silly & know that we all mattered, and when I had kids, they knew who P&P were & LOVED watching their shows...

just watching some old clips on you tube of "patches and pockets." I must say that it totally was one of my fonder memories of childhood. I couldn't help but to giggle the entire time watching her at work. I wonder if she ever realized just what a talent she had and wonder if she knew how many lives she really truly touched. It seems so unfair that she of all people had experienced difficulties in her later years. I know this for sure, she is being repaid in heaven for all the smiles she put...

I grew up in Port Clinton and was blessed to have Sue and Charles Donner as mentor parents. I was friends with their duaghter Julie and the Donners became parental figures to me during college. They took the time to cheer for me when I got my first big job out of college with Owens Corning and they made me feel special and a part of their family. I missed hearing of Sue's passing but as I look at the picture of her in my office I will never forget the touch she placed on my heart. - Evania...

I remember almost every morning waking up and watching patches and pockets. From time to time I think of them and ask people if they remember them. they have a couple episodes on you tube I watched and it sure took me back to when i was a child... They should rerun the shows i think the kids now adays would really get as much out of the show as i did when i was their age...

Patches and Pockets helped mold me into who I am today. I was not only lucky enough to grow up with P&P, but later became close friends with Sue Donner when she was in Lakeside. She was very instrumental in helping me to lose weight that had caused me to be teased. I loved Sue very much and will always remember her with a smile.

I grew up in Port Clinton and Patches & Pockets was a big part of my childhood. I always looked forward to watching it. I also remember seeing them in the parades that went thru the streets of PC. It was a great show. You touched so many lives. I will always remember the things I learned.

Boy, Patches & Pockets was a big part of my childhood along with Daniel Boone reruns, Mr Rogers, Sesame Street, Speed Racer, & Sir Graves the Ghastly. Innocent fun, not the schlock on TV now they try to pass off as "Entertainment". Loved Patches, loved Pockets--God Bless both ladies & their families! Thanks for the Memories!

P&P my where did all the time go ?! Your show was a gem to all of us. May you Rest In Peace ~ Cheryl

Patches and Pockets was a wonderful show. My neighbor and I loved watching the show together and loved pretending to be Patches and Pockets ourselves. May God comfort your family at this time knowing she touched so many lives with wonderful memories.
