Not sure what to say?

Marlene was a class act. As teenagers, we admired her up-to-date high heels. I loved to babysit the six oldest children. It was fun to get to know Linda, Melanie, David, Dianne, Julie and Danny. They had a picture of
"The Village Blacksmith," and I knew it so Marlene had me recite it for whoever was listening. I went away to college and didn't know the others as well. A lovely lady!

I am so sorry you have lost your sweetheart Rulon. I think it is more difficult for you than for those of us who are widowed. She was indeed a wonderful companion, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. So many years of service. May you and your family be comforted.

Your family is in our prayers! At the Hillam family reunions Marlene was such a gracious host! She had a beautiful smile, and made us feel right at home.

One of the sweetest and most gracious women we have ever been privileged to know! Our love and sympathy to Rulon and her children. May you find comfort in sweet memories.

On earth, a light on the hill. You will blaze in glory in the eternities. Thank you for your example.
