Marlene was a kind soul with an easy smile and always cared about others more than herself. I knew when I’d see her, I’d be met with her gentleness, interest in me and a fast laugh together with me. We spent summers together in Idaho as kids and looked forward to seeing my cousins for fun and adventure. I am saddened by this loss and will remember her as a dear cousin and friend.
