MARLENE JAEGER passed away April 17, 2008. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Sunday at Klein Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11 AM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5201 Spring Cypress Road.

During those special times that I was allowed in the carpool (I was kicked out pretty often) I would always drive and Cathy would ride shotgun with Marlene in the back seat behind Cathy. I would watch the rear view mirror and before we got a mile down the HOV lane, Marlene would be asleep. I know she worked all day at Shell, took work home and then did her chores at home of an evening, rarely going to sleep before midnight. But the next day, there she would be, ready to go again, often before...
