Not sure what to say?

Dear Bernie, I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Marlene. She was a remarkable woman who accomplished so much in her life and touched so many people. Marlene was an amazing inspiration and role model to me of what a Chairman's wife should be. I will never forget her emotional reaction when we visited the Rothko chapel in Houston. It's hard to believe we will not see her big smile and spitfire energy again. She made the world a better place and will be missed. Love, Melissa Brunicardi

Dear Bernie, Mark and Debbie,
I am so deeply sadden to hear about Marlene's passing. From our early days at Downstate to our most recent meeting at the ASA this past spring, Marlene always had that bright, smiling, warm and engaging greeting that really made one feel happy to see and speak with her. Her service to her many communities and her love and devotion to her family were a model to all. She will be remembered and missed by many. I am so sorry for your loss.
Love,
Ronnie

Bernie,we were so sad to read of the death of your beloved wife, Marlene. She was such a dynamic person and made us feel as though we were old friends when we met her. We always enjoyed seeing both
of you at the opera performances. Marlene loved music and opera and shared her love for both. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
