Not sure what to say?

I worked with Marlene many years on 6 South. We laughed together a lot. She would always ask about me and my family, and was a good friend, I enjoyed our talks and will miss her very much. I will be praying for her family, I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers.

Marlene was a wonderful person and nurse. We worked together many years and she was kind, caring and professional to everyone she dealt with . She will be greatly missed by everyone God bless. Mark

Marlene was a knowledgeable nurse who always had a story to share, and a smile to go with it. Shortly after starting on 6 South, she believed in me having the nursing skillset, and temperament, to be in charge, more than I had believed in myself. I had not known it at that time, but she gave me the confidence I needed to believe in myself, and to lead others. I grew, as a nurse, because of her ability to encourage, and motivate me to see beyond my fears. Marlene will be missed, and my heart...

I loved working with Marlene on night shift. She was such a proud Veteran and had that bond immediately when she introduced herself to any patient. She was a nurse that took great pride in her work. She will be missed.

Marlene always had a funny story to tell about her military days. When I started as a HUC on 6N, Marlene introduced herself and we bonded over the fact that we were female Veterans. I also remember the countless times that she would buy dinner for the staff just because. I wish I had know that last month was the last hug I would ever give her. But I know I will see her on the other side.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends and coworkers. I have known Marlene for a pretty long time since she worked on the 6th floor and I work in pharmacy and communicate with the nurses on a daily basis.

She was always nice to me even when times were a little hectic.

I will miss here.

God bless.

Matt
