Not sure what to say?

I was sad to stumble across this obituary. She was my principal in Germany. I used to admire her for her kindness with all of us and often think about her. I was always excited to see her at school. My thoughts are with all of her family. She was an amazing woman.

It is hard to believe that Marlene has been gone so many years. In my memory today, I can still see that vibrant smile and remember the good conversations we shared. Retired DoDDS administraor

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I send my deepest condolences to you. May your beautiful memories with Marlene serve as blessings.
Sincerely, Eileen Regen

Hank,
Betty and I were saddened to learn about
Marlene's passing. We got to know and work her in Augsburg, and the Outdoor Ed. Program in Bertchesgarten.

Marlene, You were a positive bright light at the Hinterbrand Outdoor Ed center. I enjoyed our evening discussions.
May you rest in peace.

Hank: We really enjoyed the after NARFE meeting time in the American Legion lounge when we really got to know Marlene and her love of life. She was truly a 'Blithe Spirit' of the world. She will be greatly missed! God Bless you. Dave and Lois Bauman

Hank, We were in Europe and just returned to get your message about Marlene. I am so sorry; she was so wonderful.

Please give me a call as I do not have your number.
