Thank you to everyone who has given their condolences about my mother's passing, and to those who are helping our family during this difficult time. We are sad to announce the passing of Marleen Leek, wife of Lt Bill Leek co pilot of THE LITTLE SKIPPER on the Piggyback Flight. Edith Berkowitz is the only widow alive of the crews involved in the incident. Prayers to the family via Cyndi Rojohn

Marlene was quite amazing matriarch & left a large legacy. My deepest condolences to the extensive Fraser, Leek, Simer (Picklesimer), O'Neill families, plus their numerous cousins. I know all who loved her are very very sad right now; even lost. Please know that time really does help to ease the sorrow. BUT MOST OF ALL... Be Kind to one another!!! While I never met Marlene I know that she was a generous person. Every year that I asked for a donation of a plant basket for the Women's Shelter Benefit Show, she agreed! I have a feeling she was a great lady in other ways too. My condolences to her family.
