Marlin Briscoe

I was fortunate to meet Marlin in 1971 while living in Miami, Florida. I found him to be polite and a gentleman at all times. Condolences to his family. He was a shining light who will be greatly missed.

Marlin Briscoe was the first black starting quarterback in the American Football League when he started a game for the Denver Broncos in 1968. He had a wonderful career in football.
