Marlin Briscoe

He was my neighbor. He would play football with the kids in our neiborhood
My two sons would play football with him .
In the front yard of our unit at so side terrace on 39 & S street.

I was fortunate to meet Marlin in 1971 while living in Miami, Florida. I found him to be polite and a gentleman at all times. Condolences to his family. He was a shining light who will be greatly missed.

To the family, many, many friends, and fans of this great person who quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Marlin Briscoe was the first black starting quarterback in the American Football League when he started a game for the Denver Broncos in 1968. He had a wonderful career in football.
