My mother and I were very sad to hear about your dad's passing. Whenever someone mentions your dad, the image I immediately have in my mind is one I remember from high school of him smiling as he's walking down the hallway, his long coat flapping in the wind and him slapping his thigh with a folder of papers! I was hired in 1972 to replace Marlow as the Earth Science teacher at Lincoln Junior High. Marlow took a new assignment to teach P.E. full-time and coach the Freshmen Football team. Marlow helped me a great deal when I had questions as a new teacher. He was a good teacher and the students and athletes he coached respected him a great deal. My very best thoughts and prayers go out to his children as we begin a New Year.

I remember Marlow from my beginning career as a teacher at Lincoln Junior High School. I had the honor and privilege of eating lunch with him and other coaches. He taught me a great wealth of information about most types of sports. I shall never forget him as a kind and decent man with an excellent sense of humor.
