I miss you my lifelong friend Connie Harris

Always in my thoughts Marlys. In union of thoughts, with Nina, Peter, Eric and all family

Memory of our children's wedding in Portland. Memory of your arrivant in France. Wonderful mémoriser your conversations with my Mom. Always thinking of you Marlys. In union of thoughts with Nina, Peter, Erik, and all family

Marlys - thank you. Thank you for being such a great friend to the Wheelers, especially my mom. The laughs and travels we all shared are priceless. The holidays shared at one another's homes have left an indelible mark on our time in Portland; and although we are now scattered all over the world, the warmth in memories I have of Wheeler/Chapman gatherings always brings smile to my face :). Thank you - we miss you!

Eric, Peter and Tina, The Chapman/Wheeler memories go way back. From holidays to hikes to many, many laughs. We all send you our love and are now thinking of our mothers together again. xox, Mark, Tim, Andrew, Geoff, and Beth

Marlys was a wonderful and loving person, always a kind word for everyone. She was such a good friend to Kitty and they had wonderful times together. The Wheelers send our condolences to the Chapman family. Mark Wheeler.

The picture of Marlys really captures her warmth, kindness and inviting openness. Marlys and I became friends when we were on the Planned Parenthood board together and we stayed friends after our term was up. Marlys was such fun to be around. Her laugh was contagious. I miss her.

To the Chapman kids, I am just reading about the loss of Marlys today. I am very saddened to learn of this news. She was very a very generous person to us when I first moved to Portland over 20 years ago. She even took my parents and me on a tour of Portland, and included me in their family Easter dinner. I've enjoyed staying in touch with Nina over the years, who used to teach with my Mom in Sacramento. I felt privileged to have known you mother, especially given all the great things...

Marlys was a great lady and my condolences to the family for your loss. RIP
