Marlys L. Karkosh

Very sad to see of Marlys' passing. The first thing I had assigned to me was to let Marlys go from her job at the Elementary School where I was a new principal. I hated to do this as she was one of the kindest women I had ever met. Her reply was, "that's fine! Can I still come to the school to volunteer?". I said "of course" and felt terrible at the same time. She was a treasure to be had at the school and a joy to be around. May she rest in peace. Enjoy the fond memories. Don Gibson

Your Mother & Grandmother was a wonderful neighbor & friend. She will be missed by so many who loved her. Our funniest moment with Marlys was when we were helping trim a tree in her yard here at Western Committees. She directed and Reggie & I trimmed. "Remember not to cut to much off!" We will have wonderful memories!
