Not sure what to say?

Melanie, I was so sorry to hear the news. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My memories of Micki are only the very fondest.

Melanie,
I remember your Mom from my days as a camp counselor...you were in the "Y" Day Camp when I was a counselor there in High School. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Pamela Drouant Marcel

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Ms. Melanie,
I will miss Ms. Micki so much. Most of our childhood memories are with her and Mr. Ernie in them. They were our grandparents across the street and I want to thank you so much for sharing them with us. It just doesn't seem the same without her across the street anymore, but it will always be Ms. Micki's house. Ms. Micki was a wonderful person and a very special part of our lives.

Melanie, Trippy, Mark and Marshall-

Jack and I met Micki and Ernie in Ruston in 1949. Micki and I met during a lunch break where we exchanged photos of our husbands and found that they looked like brothers. Jack has no brothers, so from that time, Ernie became like a brother to Jack. Micki and Ernie were with us when our son, Larry, was born. We spent many happy hours playing with the baby, listening to music, and making late night waffle suppers. I am sure Micki is flashing that...

I cherish my early-childhood memories of Aunt Micki and Uncle Ernie in Ruston, and our visits to New Orleans and their visits to Jennings after both of our families moved from Ruston. You and your family are in my prayers, Melanie.

Melanie, I served on the Cancer Crusader board with your mom for many years and knew her through other organizations as well. She truly was a genuine, well liked and respected lady. I also did not know that you were Micki's daughter until speaking with my cousin, Suzie Russell. She will be missed by many. My prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. With deepest sympathies,

Melanie,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was such a delightful lady. I always enjoyed seeing her with Aunt Vinca at our annual Christmas luncheons. She would light up when we talked about the boys and was so proud of you. I will miss her friendly smile and vivacious personality. Much love to you, Trippy and the boys.

Ms Micki, Andrea and I will miss you very much. You touched our lives in so many ways. 1205 was blessed with your contributions.
