Playing Guitar Hero with my Brother
Marquis,
My Brother I miss you everyday that you are not in my life. I know that it has been quite a while that you have been gone, but I don't see me ever forgetting you. You were there for me when I need a friend and made me realize my life was worth living during the hardest challenge of my life. I pray that God has you by his side realizing that he has one of the Best, Man and Marine he has ever created. I know you will be looking down on all you loved and I cant wait to see you again...

I spent some time wondering why I couldn't get a hold of you. I just found out today even though I had a clue for some time. You were a great personal friend, fellow Marine, and I miss you. Semper fi, and fair winds and following seas in your rest brother. I'll see you on the other side.

We will not forget. May...

To the family and friends of Sgt. Marquis R. Porter:
It has truly been my honor to sign Marquis' guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Marquis will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy
