HORNE, Marquise Eugene, 16, entered into eternal life Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Richmond, Va. He was a student at Huguenot High School, where he worked really hard to succeed. Marquise enjoyed making others laugh, hanging out with friends and "torturing" his siblings, like big brothers are supposed to do. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, James Horne Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Delisha Horne; father, Alphonso Satchell; a devoted aunt/guardian, Cecelia Taylor (Larry); grandmother, Mary Horne (Daryl); grandfather, Michael Scott; great-grandmother, Cecelia Horne; two sisters, Teosha Horne and Tylisha Horne; two brothers, Taevon Abernathy and Trequan Jones; aunt, Shemicka Horne; uncles, Shawn Horne, Maurice Horne (Tara); Tyray Horne (Tina), Michael Horne (Danielle); great-aunts, Linda Henderson and Jean Daniels (Albert); great-uncle, James Horne Jr. (Maria); devoted cousins, Jarell Hudson, Harry Horne (Breonda), Carlos Horne and Natasha Short (Kendall); a host of family and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013. Rev. Ronald C. Taylor officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
