Sept. 11, 1970 - May 21, 2016 MARQUS AVIS PETTWAY, GSM2, USNR, a native of Mobile, Alabama, departed this life on Saturday, MAY 21, 2016, at a local hospital, Marqus A. Pettway retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of honorable service. Marqus A. Pettway was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Lynn Pettway-Harris and his sister Felicia Harris. Marqus A. Pettway leaves to cherish his memories a lifelong friend and wife, Rosalind R. Robbins-Pettway; mother- in-law, Edna Robbins; father, Sammy Lee Harris, and Labarron (Patricia) Gates; children, Alexandria Queen, Joshua Robbins, Alicia Pettway, DeAndre' Robbins, and Marqus Pettway, Jr.; siblings, LeTonia Pettway, Samantha Harris, Carlous (Lashanda) Harris; sister- in- law, Angie Dixon, brother- in- law, Rodrick Robbins, Sr., sister- in- law, Clarissa Robbins; four grandchildren, Makiylah, Antwon Jr, Trenton, and Tiyana; one maternal, aunt Patricia (Sylvester) Square; maternal uncles Rev. Timothy (Joyce) Pettway; Willie (Sharon) Pettway, and Charles (Barbara) Pettway; a host of other siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and Military Friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the 11a.m. funeral hour at Reese Funeral Home. Bishop Dickie Robbins Officiating Minister.
