Not sure what to say?

I´ve just now learned of Marsha´s passing. After a diagnosis and surgery for breast cancer in 1993, I was contacted by Marsha, a fellow survivor ... and it launched a treasured friendship. I made numerous trips from Manhattan to spend time with her in the Sussex Co. library, her Newton apt., and later in her house on the hill. To say she was uplifting is an understatement. She filled my life with humor, joy, and enriching conversation. She was a wonderful human being. When I needed that...

Still can't believe she's gone. Debbie's comment this week on Lina's page about the bear who broke into Marsha's house brought that all back. We had been to the mall after work and when we got home it was dark. We had parked Marsha's car at the library, so I dropped her there and drove home. Soon, I got a call to come see the mess the bear had made. There were eggs broken all over the floor, food spilled and a frozen pizza tossed out on the lawn, still in its box for the "kids". How...

I first knew Marcia as a library patron but she quickly became a friend. She was a generous caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. No matter how bad a day I was having, she always had me laughing. I'll truly miss her.

Marsha was a wonderful, funny, delightful person. Janet and I will miss her terribly.

Marsha and I drove that bookmobile all over a very rural Sussex County back in the early 80's and I was often on the receiving end of that quick wit. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard. She loved her cats, her house in the country and that library system, always working to improve it for the community it served. Marsha was one of a kind and I'll remember her always.

Marsha made an indelible impact on all those she met. She was a fierce advocate for personal and political freedoms and was a treasured friend. She will be terribly missed by her friends and family. So many years, so many memories. Love, Ed and Elaine

i worked with Marsha for many years at the Sussex County Main Library. I'll remeber our many conversations about her love of plants and nature, but also her love of her cats over the years. she was a soft spoken, gentle soul.

I worked with Marsha for many years at the Sussex County Library. She had a quick wit and would always lend a hand if someone had health issues. I know how much she loved her kitties and I even remember her dog Jake. I hope a good home can be found for her cat. My sincere condolences for your loss.
