Marsha Kiefer Sethman, 58, of Douglasville, Ga. and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 4:15 P. M. on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. She was born May 17, 1947 in Besco, Washington County, Pa., a daughter of the late Lambert F. and Elizabeth Rigda Kiefer. Mrs. Sethman was a 1965 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School and a 1968 graduate of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore Md., Mercy Hospital, Baltimore, Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa., the Curry Memorial Home, Waynesburg and for Dr. William Mitchell, Uniontown, Pa. She also worked at the Inner Harbor Hospital, Douglasville.

Surviving are two children, Kelly Sethman Wilczynski of Carmichaels and Chad Sethman, Ph. D. of Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan Wilczynski; three brothers, Walter Kiefer of McClellandtown, Pa., Bert Kiefer of Clarksville, Pa. and Mark Kiefer of Carmichaels; seven nieces and nephews and her fiancé, Steve Nelson of Douglasville.

Family and friends are welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P. M. on Thursday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa. (724-966-5500) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Friday, December 16, 2005 with the Rev. John Rich Dorean officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Winship Cancer Institute, Development Office - Bone Marrow Transplant Research, 1365-B Clifton Rd., Suite 4100, Atlanta, GA 30322.
