Not sure what to say?

Was just speaking with a friend about Marsha. Looked her up and sadly I found she left this realm. I knew Marsha for several years when she lived in Odessa, we spoke often had fun eating at Pit Boss, loved her many stories, loved reading book, "Things I Remember", she was a great woman , Mother, wife, Grandmother . I'm sure she is making others smile . Bless you Marsha.

We were not aware Marsha had passed away. We were up in the mountains of NC and do not receive local news. Marsha and JB were faithful members of George Young Memorial United Methodist Church. Marsha always volunteered to work with me for VBS week. The kids loved her. I remember when she asked if Katherine could join in too. Katherine had just started dating Trey. She was active at church and we enjoyed when JB would add his talents to our musical program. We bought his silver sax for our...

My husband and I were married in 1990 in Odessa and my parents' friends threw a kitchen shower for us to which Marsha and JB came. Each couple brought a gift and a recipe. Marsha gave me her carrot cake recipe. It is one of my favorite recipes and whenever I make it for a potluck, people always want to know the recipe. It is a little unusual in that it calls for crushed pineapple. I most recently made it at a family reunion last July and of course my cousins wanted the recipe. I think...

I am so sorry I missed this. Marsha was a "class A" lady who was loved by many. She was always available for a smile, a welcome gesture, and had a very nurturing manner. I will dearly miss this woman.

For my husband growing up down the dirt road from the ranch was very enriching for him & later for myself & my 2 children having the ranch as part of their back yard I will forever be grateful for. Knowing Ms Marsha was definitely for myself as well! Melissa Edwards wife of Buddy Edwards

Without a doubt, Marsha was one of the kindest, most loving and generous women I knew. I enjoyed "sharing" her children Sarah, Laura and Frank in my classes at the Learning Center on Pine Hill Road many many years ago. She was always a willing chaperone for our field trips. Of course I also got to know both Trey and Jay B through work, and I know that the whole family loved her dearly and will miss her always. My condolences to all--I am unable to attend services, as I now live in Virginia.

Marsha Starkey was a Girl Scout lifetime member and honored as a Woman of Distinction in 2008 in Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. Marsha help make the world a better place.

Marsha was such a ray of sunshine - lighting up every room she entered! I first met her while serving on The Florida Orchestra's board with Jay B. Generosity was such a part of who their lives. I recall her showing me her sewing room when attending Jay B's annual concert with his friends. She was greatly missed when they moved from St. Petersburg and attending First Presbyterian. Blessings to you all, Vicki Fox
