Not sure what to say?

It is with great sadness that I learned of Marcie's passing. She was a beautiful spirit, full of life and love. We met through the on-line bone cancer support group and our beloved pets were fighting OS during the same time. Marcie had a very special connection to her beloved Charlie.
May the wonderful memories of Marcie keep her near.
With healing thoughts ....

To Marcie's family:
I am so sorry for your loss. We on the Bone Cancer Dogs list have a special bond as we fight together for our beloved companions. She will be sorely missed. Wishing you peace in the difficult days ahead.

So sorry for your loss, Marcie wrote so lovingly about Charlie & Hambone. She always had strength in her words & spoke up when the focus of our canine bone cancer group went off-track. She was the inspiration to begin a new group and & she will be remembered as a hero & a wonderful person.

Although I did not know Marcie personally, I heard wonderful things about her......I know she had a happy reunion with Charlie and Hambone on the other side.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Among the saved emails I had from November 2004 from Marcie, I thought this one was appropriate to post here. While this pertains to a dog, I think it probably was a favorite since she posted it and thought it would be a nice tribute to Marcie.

If It Should Be

If it should be that I grow weak,
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this last battle cannot be won.

You will be sad, I understand;
Don't let your grief then...

I was stunned to hear that Marcie had passed. As with the others on the online BoneCancerDogs support group, I didn't know Marcie personally, but felt I had a bond with her. When she wouldn't see me posting for awhile, she would write to me to ask if everything was okay. When my father passed away of a sudden massive heart attack, she told me she didn't follow the posts very much, but came to see if I posted an update on my father. She then found out he had passed and was one of the first to...

To Marcie's Family and close friends:

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear of Marcie's passing. While I did not know her well, I was devastated to hear the news. The loss of her presence will be felt in many many places.

I wish I could see the joyful reunion with Hambone and Charlie for just a moment. What a joyous moment that must be.

Godspeed Marcie.

My heart goes out to all of you; Marcie was indeed a wonderful person. My hope is that time brings with it smiles of remembrance.

To Marcie's family,
I was heartbroken with the news of Marcie's passing....although we never met personally, we were all connected through an online canine cancer support group, and we met because our dogs were fighting cancer. Through her emails I knew she was a strong, caring and loving person. All of us on the Bone Cancer Dog support group are deeply saddened by your loss. We take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her Charlie & Hambone, at the Rainbow Bridge, until...
