Not sure what to say?

To the Ney family
I first met Marsh in 1967 when I jointed Air Division. He was one of a kind and a character to say the least. I have many fond memories of lengthy conversations with him on a variety of topics all of which he made interesting. His interest and dedication to aviation in general and Air Division in particular was very obvious and he passed on his wealth of knowledge to everyone especially the rookies. Sadly missed and fondly remembered.

Margo, Bruce, Gordon and Eric, My goodness, so sorry to hear about your Dad. What a beautiful man and always so very positive. I remember with fond memories his many visits to Churchill, Regina, Inuvik and Victoria. Everyone loved you Dear Dad. Again so sorry. Clare Walker Victoria BC

I am so sorry for your loss. Marsh or as we know him, the Mad Monk, was like a grandfather to myself and my brother growing up. I have known Marsh since I was 10 years old and now I have children who are 12 and 14. He will be missed dearly. I am happy I was able to see him recently before he passed...

Marsh was in Ottawa in 1975 when I was first posted to
Air Services there. He was always willing to share his knowledge with us junior pilots. Many humorous memories of our time there with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and all who knew him.

We are sorry to hear of Marsh's passing. Our prayers are with you all. He was an inspiration to all those who served with him especially the young pilots.

To the Ney Family:
My heart filled sympathies! Your father touched me in so many ways as I started my aviation career in the RCMP. From his stories of Ney Lake on the Manitoba/Ontario border surveyed by his father to the instructions in how to properly dilute the Beaver and Otter aircraft before a cold winter night so that one could start the aircraft in the morning. Your father would ask me every morning “what I had for breakfast?.../ because you never knew when you might go down and...
