Not sure what to say?

To Marshall's family I am sorry to hear this i just found out thru a friend. I use to go to Judd Rd store all the time and play with Irene. Marshall use to give us free candy. Your family is one of the most thoughtful and friendliest families I have ever met. My prayers are with you. Kathy "Ogden" Johnson

Just heard about the death of Marshall. He was a wonderful man, and stopped around often to see us. He built 2 houses next to us. Seened him at Plate Above resaturant a few months ago and got to have a nice visit with him. Also would see hin at MacDonalds different times. He was so kind and had a nice smile. He will truly be missed. We live on the Maple and Center area. in Burton.R.I.P. The Russell Ballmer family.

Marshall will be remembered fondly for the rest of my life. I was a classmate of Irenes and, lived one block from the grocery store throughout my childhood. Mr. Barnett was a kind and caring man who truly enjoyed the kids in the neighborhood, as was evidenced by his tremendous penny candy assortment. Men such as he come around seldom in a young mans life, and I will treasure my memories of him.

Barnett Family,
Although I did not know your father very well. I did have the opportunity to meet him one day in his old store, Barnett Grocery. Which is now JPs Party Shoppe. I enjoyed his little giggle and laugh as he was always pleased to be able to stop in and buy a pack of his favorite Wrigley's Gum or a Hershey Candy Bar. He would stop by often and tell me stories of when he owned his store. He was happy that we have kept it going for the past 35 years after he had it. If it...

To Jim and family, so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. What a nice long life he had. I am sure all the fun memories of him will console you at this time.

Gerald, James, and all the Barnett Family,
Sorry to hear about your Dad, but he lived a long successful life. He was proud of you and your families. I remember him as a shrewd businessman who always managed to make a living, "HIS WAY". Nothing I say will diminish your feelings and emotions; just dwell on all the good things in Marshall's life. God Bless and sustain all of you.
Sincerely,
William Jarrel McIlroy
