Not sure what to say?

Great man who willingly passed knowledge and skills to the next generations.

As the patriarch of a very involved Chemung County 4-H Family, Buster became a "volunteer" for many 4-H programs and activities. He said "yes" when asked to assist with the 4-H horse programs, 4-H Camp, County Fair and other 4-H and Youth programs. He set the bar high for others to emulate -- an all-around guy who served his family and community well. It was a privilege to know and work with Buster and his family. Our condolences to Bernice, those two precocious young ladies, Rita and...

A very heartfelt thank you to all who attended Buster's funeral. We visited with so many old friends in such a short time - your tribute was wonderful for my Mom, brother Joe & sister Rita, & me Judy.
Please don't be strangers & keep connected to Mom if you can - she misses Dad so much. So grateful for all who helped us last Saturday at the church & the cemetary - it was a long day but went bye in a flash. Thanks too for all the wonderful cards sent from all over the country & the kind...

I will always remember the good times I had when I would bring my mare up to have Buster work on her. To this day I still have not found a farrier that has a wife that would have the fans set up for the horse and her husband and have cookies ready when he was done. With depest sympathy, David, Jennifer Snyder

Bernice, Rita, Joe and Judy and family. So sorry to hear of Busters passing. Buster was so much to the horse world.
With depest sympathy. Gary & Judy Urban

As a kid I always remember the first time I saw Buster come to the farm and "watched in amazement" as he worked his skills. It has been many years since then and I can reflect back with a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, and may the Lord comfort you through this difficult time. The Steel Family

Bernice, we were so sad to hear of "Busters" passing. I will always remember that wonderful smile and sense of humor Buster had. From being a little girl who had her first horse shod by "Buster" to the adult I am now, Buster always had time for a friendly conversation and a smile to cheer one, no matter what. He truely was a "Gentlemen" with great kindess of which I will never forget. John and I send you and your family out deepest sympathy and know our thoughts and prayers are with you....

For The Marshall Conklin Family,

Like the Statue of Liberty, "Buster" will remain a sentinel in our life time. Never to forget, always to remeber.
In loving memory, The Newell Family, Jackie, Junie, Stasia, and Peter

Sorry to hear about Buster's passing I know he is at rest in a greater place. He was a unforgetable influence on my life in many ways. I was blessed to have had him as a mentor.
