CONNER, Marshall Wade, 54, passed away June 10, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debi Conner; son, Eric Conner and wife, Hilary and their daughter, Haley; daughter, Kelly Stallings and husband, Drew; mother, Dorothy Conner; and two brothers; three sisters and their spouses and families; sister-in-law, Phyllis Dale and husband, Mike and family. He was a member of the United Transportation Union Local #610 and member of Claremont Sportsman's Club. The family will receive friends Monday, June 14, 2010, 5 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., where services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.

Its almost nine years now. Hes the first thing I think about when I wake. The last thought before I sleep is of my Daddy. Ive been working hard to make him proud. Even in his absence I feel his presence. I talk to him every day. I do not miss him anymore. He lives in my son. His grandson who unfortunately he never met or held. My son is named after him.
