Not sure what to say?

This wonderful man steered me towards infertility treatments, endured six miscarriages with me and my husband, and brought our two boys into the world. It would be hard to know who was more excited when our first one finally arrived. We considered him a friend. We would bump into each other getting groceries and always chatted, even years later. He was capable, kind, and was a fierce advocate for his patients. He told me that everything he learned about doing IV's, injections, etc. he learned...

Dr Field delivered all three of our children and became our friend as well. He was a compassionate, caring physician and we remember him fondly. Sincere condolences from our family to all of you.

I was so saddened to read of the loss of Dr. Field. He was an excellent OB/GYN and he delivered both of my daughters in 1983 and 1986 at Goddard Memorial Hospital. He was compassionate, caring and very professional. I did not know of his wonderful service to our country, which is truly appreciated. May the many wonderful memories his family has, sustain them during this difficult time. Thank you Dr. Field and RIP.

I believe I developed my love of music from him. Another favorite memory was the one time I played golf with my dad down in Ft. Myers. I don't remember the score, I'm sure he "beat"...

Dr. Field,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN-especially during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Fair Winds And Following Seas

I remember Dr Field as a pleasant easy going surgeon that was NOT the typical pressured short tempered physician. He remembered people's names and made subordinates like me comfortable. His patients loved him more than his colleagues. That has become much more inspiring to me over my lifetime. I lost all track of him after the working summer. I bet he was surrounded with...
