Marshall Leach Jr.

My condolences go out to Marshall’s friends and family on your loss.

Marshall was an amazing man, he has made a lasting impact in the world of audio as well as at School and home.

I became aware of Marshall’s work in the 80’s, particularly with a paper in the area I worked which was I thought “brilliant” and was a great help to me (after I figured it out).

I wrote him several times and each time got a nice reply, sounding a little like a person who was...

I built several of his speaker designs. His office door was always open, and he always greeted me with a huge smile.

He was a great inspiration, helping me start in electromagnetics, then the highs, lows, and mids of speaker design. Memories I will have forever.
