Coach Lester ,I will always remember you as my Coach. ( Lester) at 16th Street Middle School what a spectacular time in my Life! I had seen you twice since which placed a happy smile upon our faces! I won't never forget you! RIP Coach Lester!

I just found out. He was a wonderful person and will be missed.

I'm just learning today of Marshall "Spanky" Lester's death. He was a truly dear friend of mine for a number of years and a fellow classmate. I'm so sorry to learn of his death. My sincere prayers and condolences to his family and loved ones. May God comfort and strengthen you all during this difficult time. I remember a book marker that he gave me years ago while he attended Florida Southern University. I believe it said "Marshall Lester, he's the law in these parts". May he rest in peace...
