LEWIS, Marshall "Boo Lewis" Jr., of Ashland, Va., exchanged life on earth for one of eternal rest on Monday, December 15, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Sr. and Sallie Lewis. He was the first child of this union born on November 3, 1933, in Ashland, Va. He is survived by two devoted sisters, Mary Walker and Edith Giles, both of Richmond, Va.; one uncle, Irvin Jones Sr.; three aunts, Alease Coleman, Georgia Burruss and Evelyn Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and a devoted friend, Walter "Bubba" Jackson. His remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Brown Grove Baptist Church, 9328 Ashcake Rd., Ashland, Va. Rev. F.E. Temple officiating. Interment Jones Family Cemetery.
