Father Rice was Vicar, and then first Rector, of the Church of the Atonement, Fair Lawn, Diocese of Newark, from 1961 until 1967. The Atonement family prays than those who grieve will not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in God's goodness, and strength to meet the days to come.

What a great man. I was happy to have known him. I especially looked forward to his sermons and really enjoyed his take on the Episcopal Church. He will be sorely missed.

Marshall was a dear friend of all of us of the Kent School class of 1952. He will be greatly remembered and missed
