McNeece-Morris Funeral Home - Fulton Obituary

FULTON - Marshall Cowan Sage, 94, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born September 25, 1928, in Goodells, Michigan, to Charles and Ina Musgrove Sage. He served in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1952. He retired after 44 years of service as production manager for Mueller Brass Industries. He was a member of Fulton United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf, yard work, being outdoors, and an occasional cigar. He an avid conversationalist who always showed an interest in the lives of the youth.


Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 3, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with the Rev. Phillip Box officiating. Burial will be in the Itawamba Memorial Gardens.


Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Arliss Sage; two daughters, Sister Sharon L. Sage of Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, and Dondra Ragsdale (Robert) of Fulton; one son, Marshall C. Sage II (Rhonda) of Saltillo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Sage Cleveland; three brothers, Harold Sage, Deon Sage, Lynwood Sage, and Lynford Sage; two sisters, Anna Neal and Marguerite Sage; and his parents. 


Pallbearers will be Ceasar Herrera, Tab Bennett, Harvey Clements, Jimmy McDonald, Eugene Taylor, and Jack Hastings.


Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, and from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.

My sincere prayers and condolences, to the family. Marshall, was the production manager when I worked at Muller. I had a lot of respect for the man. He was a great Production Manager. One of the best I've ever worked for. May he rest in Peace. God Speed Marshall.
