Marshall Shapo taught me Torts as a 1L at Northwestern Law in 2016. I later had the pleasure of conducting vigorous scholarsip for both Professors Shapo. Professor Shapo had a profound impact on my sense of self as a scholar and advocate-intellectual.

In 1977, Mr. Shapo taught me torts as a OneL at the University of Virginia law school. What an engaging teacher he was! He also gave me an A+ for the course, the only one I ever received. I was grateful then, and remain grateful today for his dedication to his students. My deepest condolences.

Sorry for your loss. I did not know that Marshall had passed. Was with him at Shenandoah Jr. High, Miami Senior High and Univ of Miami Law School. Chuck Ruffner

Graduated Miami High with Marshall in 1954, and atttended night law school at U of Miami with him. Good friend and great lawyer! Chuck Ruffner, Miami

Marshall and I attended the U. of Miami at the same time. He was sort of quiet but I knew he was brilliant and that he would do well in life. I've occasionally followed him to see if my prediction was right. As time has shown he has been an inspiration to many. I am very sorry for his passing.

I am very sorry to hear of Marshall Shapo´s death. Please accept my deep condolences. I was in his torts class at NULS in the fall of 1978. One day, he asked me to meet him in his office. I wondered what I had done wrong. It turned out that he wanted to ask me how I was managing as he knew that I had two young children at home and my home was over 50 miles away from NULS. I very much appreciated his concern and was impressed that he cared about a 1L student. Blooma Stark

My condolences to all of my cousins. He was the oldest and looked up to.
