Read MoreCoach Sherrod was the Coach and 8th grade teacher and assistant principal at Kooken Elementary in Arlington when I went there 1947-1954. He was a wonderful man who taught this rowdy fellow many a life's lessons. I will never forget him. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Sherrod was such a wonderful man. He was my principal when I attended Blanton. I am well into my 50's and feel blessed to have had him in my educational endeavors. I'm so sorry for your loss.
