Not sure what to say?

I remember Skip many times as a youngster & when he worked at John Henry. My father, Lee Ripley, & Bob were Navy buddies, both worked at John Henry & were close friends. I remember going to visit Bob & Pat. I have a photo, maybe more of my mom & dad with Bob & Pat. My husband remembers Skip from working at JH. His name is Arno Hamm. Our condolences to all relatives & friends.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Skip. My prayers go out to Char and the Tompkin family. Skip was a neighbor of mine for 24 years, and I enjoyed many conversations with Skip about his family, politics, and local school issues. Skip was always upbeat and proactive in his thoughts and actions. Skip, you will be missed. Mike Shibler.

Skip was always so warm and welcoming. I can remember being over around Christmas time and he was in good spirits and joking (and with the happiest dog ever Riley by the Christmas tree). It was the same during the other gatherings at their home (and one time at Soaring Eagle). Skip and Char are a model for being a good neighbor to many. He raised a caring human and a fun-loving friend that we are really lucky to have in Nicole. It was great seeing him and the family during a visit last summer...

You are in my thoughts and prayers, Char. It has been MANY years since we worked together in PPI, but I remember how fondly and lovingly you always spoke of Skip and 'your girls.' A wonderful family. May your precious memories comfort you.

Skip was always ready to help others. He had a kind heart and was a great friend. A very honorable man. He will be missed by all of us.

Oh Char, I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. May you treasure the wonderful times you shared. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
