Not sure what to say?

Remember our good friends Marshall and Darlene in Ann AnnArbor. What good times we had. RIP..John and Charlotte O'Neil

He took a chance on me when I was 14 and allowed me to enroll in his science fiction seminar traveling to the UK to attend the world convention. This opportunity resulted in my life- long involvement in the field attending, working on and running science fiction conventions. I am so grateful that he gave me that chance and shared his love of science fiction with me.

I met Marshall at EMU in 1979 when I was a graduate assistant in the English Department, and I worked with him later, doing research for one of his many science fiction bibliographies. I loved to tease him about how difficult he could be, but I always had a soft spot in my heart for him. My thoughts are with Darlene, Matthew, & Rebecca.

Fore his accident marshall loved to harmonize with me his sister-in-law, his wife Darlene and brother-in-law Ron. Loads of fond memories

My Granddaughter, Hyacinth just informed me of your great loss. Im so sorry for you and your family and the grief youre going through. Marshall was a great guy and loved by his students. Ill never forget him and his zest for life.
