Not sure what to say?

Marshall and I worked together on issues of Constitutional law when I was special counsel to Chatham County. Marshall was cut from a finer cloth than so many of the lawyers with whom I worked and against whom I contended. Marshall would drive me crazy by always characterizing me as "the nicest lawyer in Savannah". I have come to believe that Marshall elevated with kindness those with whom he came in contact. I know I was never the nicest lawyer in Savannah; I think that most kind lawyer...

Lynn and family,

As you know, I met Marshall at the U.S. Government Advanced Placement scoring in Daytona Beach back in 2007. It was my first time doing this, but Marshall was a veteran. On the first day of the scoring, I walked from our hotel room bathroom wearing a polo and shorts and was asking the question, "how do people dress at these things?" Wood family,

Was saddened to hear of the loss of your father and husband. I know he was a great man and always enjoyed chatting with him and the humor he had but also chatting about his love for Vandy being we lived so close and our lives crossed many times throughout my growing up. Know that "the ones we love are never lost......as they will always live within our heart." Prayers go out to you and the family during this time.

Lynn and family, so sorry to hear of Marshall's passing. He was so nice to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lynn I was so sorry to hear of Marshall's passing. Prayers of Mercy, Peace and Grace to you and your family during this difficult time. GOD Bless you and your family!

I knew Marshall from I.N. Bloom Elementary School, the same piano teacher, then later at high school. He was a wonderful young man. I hope you find peace in precious memories.

We didn't know Marshall well but appreciated his good humor and his love of family. Thinking of Lynn and Sarah, as well as his brother Wally and sister-in-law Patty and all the rest of the family. Rest well, Marshall.

Treasured Friend

He served as my attorney for a civil case against the state of georgia. He was very tactful, honesty and a great person to know in and out of the courtroom. from Curley Green and family
