Not sure what to say?

I first met Marta when she was a part the the Showboat Players in Clinton Iowa via ISU, and then again when I attended Iowa State. She was so kind to me--then just a high school graduate. She encouraged me to pursue my college degree--which I did! thank you Marta

I remember Marta from book group where she always added much from her unique perspective to the discussions. On retreats to the Masarie cabin she brought her infectious creativity and humor that enlivened the events. I loved to hear her laugh. She will surely be missed.

I was saddened to see the notice of Marta's death. I had the opportunity to use her excellent services as a facilitator and to participate in other sessions she led. Ihad great respect for her insight, thoughtfulness, and good humor. She felt like a friend. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Marta was a bright spirit that I will always remember for her kindness and optimism

Marta was always a creative, energetic person. You could not help but feel her enthusiasm for life whenever you were with her. I have many memories of times with Marta. My favorite was our time in a women's book group that read the Artist's Way together. We bolstered each other's desire for creativity. Marta was the leader of course. We met each month and read the book together. One evening, we decided to step out on the town by wearing our dressiest clothes and meeting at the Heathman...

It is said we live in on in he lives we touch. Marta's light will truly continue to shine in the many communities in which she was a part.

I will always love and miss you my dear friend. You were the colleague I waited for all my life and I am so sorry we couldn't have worked together for many, many years like we dreamed.
