Not sure what to say?

Dear LaRue and family,

Please accept our love and sympathy. We knew LaRue and Martell when we served in the Ghana Accra mission 2001-2002. Martell was extremely helpful to us as Family History Area Advisors. He helped us with computer problems and was so kind and patient. We also remember well the choir LaRue directed for the groundbreaking program of the Accra Temple. We shared your excitement when you received your call to be a mission president and wife to Russia. Martell's...

What a bittersweet time. Martell was an incredible influence for good in my life. We worked together at USU and I loved this great man. I will always cherish his examples of enthusiasm, his integrity, and his genius. Thank you Martell. You will be missed!

We met Brother Gee while serving in the Tennesse Knoxville Mission as he and Sister Gee helped arrange the Seminars for the Mission Presidents of the North America Southeast Area. He was always so kind and gracious, even at our last gathering when he knew his sojourn on earth was coming to an end. What a wonderful, valiant servant of our Heavenly Father. He will be missed by people all around the world.

What an amazing man! I too worked for the church and remember my first encounter with him. He has/had the purest countenance! He was always cheerful and trying to break the local mold of the way things were done to include the world at large!

He was fun, kind, serious, prayerful, forgiving, humble . . . What a wonderful example and friend to me.

I went to high school with Martell at Fremont County Vocational High School in Lander, Wyoming. I remember when there were only the Gee boys, the Wolfley twins, and two other LDS girls in the Lander Branch, Donna Driscol and Jeanette Farthing. We had fun times and good memories. So sorry for your loss. What a happy reunion there will be with his parents, brother and other family members. May you all have peace of mind knowing where Martell has gone.

Love you grandpa. You believed in me. I can't thank you enough for that. Miss you.

I wish to express my appreciation for Martell, I worked with him while at the LDS Chruch ICS in 1980-90's. He always saw the best in me and encouraged me to excel in my career. An exceptional man who loved the gospel. Mike Buchanan

Dear LaRue and family, How we love you! What a wonderful blessing for a valiant man. He is counted as one of the great men we have known. Sincere condolences. The Plan of Salvation is real. May the Lord's choice blessings attend you.

Beloved Gee Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of the Great Patriarch of your family. This is a tough time with so many mixed emotions but I am sure that the deep faith in God that has been the foundation of your family is making it easier to bear. May you feel joy as you remember the good times even as you wade through the sorrow. I have such fond feelings and memories of your whole family and a special love for my friend Karen. God bless you all. Love, Monica Smith Fronk
