Not sure what to say?

I remember how happy you would be when we would go see you at the restaurant. You would just be so excited like it was a surprise that we were there. I also remember going to your apartment with my mom, and when we had the family reunion at yolanda's house. Having your grandchildren and children around you made you smile so much. I love you.

I was but 4 yrs. old when I met you at 14. I was the oldest so I met you the earliest. Ruben and I were buddies when he met you.we were all so very close as a family then. lots of happy times to remember. I miss you very much, love Art. infact every body Loves you and misses you. Happy Valentine's day.

Buelita Marta,

That’s how we referred to you. I associate your name with unconditional LOVE.
One time while I was visiting with you in Fresno, I had a migraine headache. You saw something wrong with me, you started rubbing my temples with your soft hands, the feeling was so soothing, and my headache went away.
Many times I would go to Don Juan’s on Chestnut, early in the morning before opening time. I would go to the back & knock; you would open the door and hug me. You’d...

Grandma,
We love you and miss you very much. Not one day goes by that you are not in our thoughts and prayers. I miss all the great stories that you told me and the funny ones too. You were a great story teller. Angel and I could always count on you to make us laugh. I also miss your laughter and your lending ear.

Grandma, I may not have a lot of memories of you. But from what I do remember was your laugh, and your voice; and they were so calm and comforting in such a way I can't explain. I love and miss you dearly. love, Jenny

I also have many fond memories of you at the restaurant. I remember you taking me for a walk and telling me that enough was enough and I had to quit drinking, just stop. You were very serious and I was still trying to joke about it. Not only did you impart wisdom of a social nature but also life skills. I remember that conversation alot and I think of you often, I know you and my mom sit up there and gossip alot.

My memories of my Aunt Martha, are still very visual. She and my mother (Tita) sitting at the both in the restaurant talking for hours about life, children, losses and old memories. My Aunt Martha's, qualities were a genuine kind nature and a welcoming personality. She always had a deep soothing hug and a smile for you. I still miss both my Aunt Martha and my mother very much. They both were able to slow down time...by listening to them both talk and relate to each other with the greatest of...
