Friends may call upon the family Monday, Oct. 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Herrmann, pastor of Thurman Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Street Cemetery, Glens Falls. Donations, in loving memory of Martha, may be made to VFW Post No. 2475, Cooper St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the emergency squad who transported Martha numerous times to Glens Falls Hospital and to the critical care staff at the hospital, and for all those who "peeked" in on Martha while she was still at home during her last months. Dear Skip & Family
I am deeply sorrowed to hear of marty's passing. She was a wonderful person always smiled and asked how ya doing honey? What's been going on? Sit down lets visit for a while, once ya sat down you'd find yourself there for hours just talking away, I hope everyone finds the way and the strength to continue our journeys til we meet up with marty again in heaven. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
