Read MoreMartha Jo was one of my mom's best friends. They were part of the CCL: Child Conservation League- otherwise know as "Mothers' Club". The Backstroms lived right down the block on Milton Avenue. I was friends with Ellen. I can see their yellow house right now. I was amazed at their player piano. I wish the family all the good memories they can hold on to.
