Jimmy-So sorry to hear about Marty! Its been many years since i have seen you and Marty. I will always remember the good times when we roomed together at Auburn in 70 & 71! My condolences

Marty was a lovely person and fabulous teacher! She loved her family so much! My prayers are with you all!

Marty´s family and ours merged following the marriage of our children in 2009. Marty and Jimmy quickly became friends as well as family. We enjoyed many special events, holidays, and even a cruise over the years. And, of course, the two grandchildren we had in common were the source of many special memories. We are greatly saddened by the loss of our family member and friend, but are grateful Marty is now fully herself again, enjoying being with her loved ones who went home before her. ...

All the parents at Mary B. Austin wanted their children to have Mrs. Beaird as their teacher. She was energetic, enthusiastic and took her job seriously. Marty made a lasting contribution as an educator. Peace and comfort to the many people who loved her.

Mrs. Beaird was such a loving, kind, warm 3rd grade teacher to me - I have so many wonderful memories from her classroom. Sending love and prayers.

Please accept my sincere condolences. Marty was a wonderful colleague at Mary B. Austin. She was cheerful, sincere and gracious always, and her students adored her.

Brandon - I am so sorry to hear of Marty's death but know she is in such a happy place now where she knows all the people there and is enjoying catching up with them. So sad to hear that Martha has passed away. Grew up almost across the street from her house and went through school with her from Mary Austin to Murphy. Always loved seeing her at class reunions as well. May the Lord Bless and console her family. Sam Hamilton
