I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful energetic woman and I have so many memories of her and being at the house on Norwood Avenue. I was always amazed at how she found the time to do so many things and be there for all of you and all your friends when we showed up after school.
Ann (Horn) D'Ambruoso (friend of Lucille)

To the Cavanagh family: I'm very sorry for your loss. I feel fortunate to have known your mother and grandmother. Her smile could light up the room, and put everyone at ease. She was such a lovely lady.

One wintery Sunday evening in 1970 after a CYO meeting Martha and friends towed her family toboggan to the nearby Temple to Music for moonlight sliding. Returning to Norwood Avenue chilled to the bone Martha’s Mom welcomed us in serving hot chocolate and homemade cookies. R.I.P.
