Not sure what to say?

Martha was not only my school teacher, she was my Sunday School teacher and a lifelong friend. She was a treasured part of my life story and the family so many of us knew as the Spurr's Corner Church. I will remember many things about the gift that Mrs. Connell was to me and my family...but one of my favorite memories was returning home to Otisfield, Maine (from my new home in Southern California) with my girls and introducing them to my friend -- my former teacher -- Martha at the church...

Pete, Karla and family. We join many others is expressing our sympathy on the death of Martha. What precious memories you must hold from a life that was not only fulfilled in so many ways, but also in length of time. "May the parting be temporary and the meeting Eternal." God bless you all.

Mrs. Connell was an amazing teacher! She kept track of her students over the years by talking with people and reading the newspaper. When I graduated from high school she write me a beautiful letter and commented on many things that had happened to me over the years. I know I was not the only one to get a letter like this.

I spent a portion of first grade being home-schooled in France. Mrs. Connell had the class write letters to me and she shared information about my trip with them....
